Asia based Managed Service Provider, FunctionEight is delighted to announce the appointment of Henrik Runnström as Managing Director based in our Hong Kong Office. The appointment is with effect from 16th November 2018.
The partners of the firm, Martin Abert, Chris Young and Phil Aldridge remain controlling shareholders of FunctionEight with the intention to gradually reduce their operational involvement in the business.
Henrik Runnström brings with him 10 years of experience and knowledge in Asia Pacific. After graduating from Lund University with a business degree in Service Management, Henrik continued his post graduate studies at Chinese University in Hong Kong.
After shorter spells with the two multinationals Tetra Pak and Puma, Henrik managed the business development function for Apsis in Asia, a leading software solutions provider for marketing automation, e-commerce, lead generation and email marketing.
His most recent role was managing the business development function for Scania Automotive Group in Hong Kong & Macau (part of Volkswagen) which he did for the past 5 years.
With full responsibility for the leadership and development of FunctionEights Asia Pacific business, Henrik will play a key role in meeting the company’s aggressive growth goals as well as building on the firms outstanding reputation for service and delivery to our clients across all sectors.
